2015 National Day workshops of international students were held at Panyu Campus and Yuexiu Campus separately on September 29 and 30. Professor Donghai Wei (the vice president of GMU), Professor Jiachun Lu( the dean of School of International Education), Jianhua Li( the dean of Teaching Affairs Department), Jian Li(the dean of Resources Management Department), all teachers of School of International Education, International Students Management Support Team and all international students attended the workshop.
Professor Jiachun Lu hosted the workshop. Two students, Hamza from England and Mosha from Tanzania, as international students representatives, gave a touching speech on sharing their lives and study in GMU. Vice president Wei had the workshop with international students regarding teaching, internship, license examination which students were highly concerned. He said that GMU had already made MOU with Indian and Nepal Medical Council and relevant hospitals.GMU was planning to invite experts from Medical Council of India and Nepal to guild the license examination soon. Finally Vice president Wei said he hoped all students could make great achievement in the new semester and pay attention to the personal safety.

9月29日、30日，我院分别在番禺校区、越秀校区举行2015年留学生国庆节座谈会。师生欢聚一堂，共同庆祝中国国庆节的到来。魏东海副校长，国际教育学院吕嘉春院长、教务处李建华处长、后勤校产管理处李建处长，国际教育学院全体教职工、留学生助理及全体留学生参加了座谈会。
座谈会由吕嘉春院长主持，来自英国的Hamza和来自坦桑尼亚的Mosha作为留学生代表发言，分享了在校的学习、生活情况。魏东海副校长就留学生关心的教学、实习、执业医师资格考试等方面与留学生进行了座谈，并向留学生介绍了学校与印度、尼泊尔医学教育委员会及医疗机构建立联系，即将邀请印度、尼泊尔医学教育委员会专家来校指导留学生参加执医考试的情况。最后，魏东海副校长对留学生新学期的学习生活提出了新的要求，并进行了安全教育。
