On May 11, 2014,the Youth Singer Competitionwas successfully held in GMU Auditorium. The Youth Singer Competition was organized by Youth League Committee of GMU, 14 students spanning from 12 schools and 10 teachers from 8 affiliated hospitals participated in the competition. The bandFOXTROTfrom School of International Education with membersKetegwe Irene Raphael, Thangjam Remon Meitei, Kshetrimayum Mahesh Mangang, Chingangbam Kelvin and Rai Manikala joined in the competition, and the band FOXTROT won the second prize.
The competition consisted of two rounds: the contestants were requested to pair into groups in the first round. Ketegwe Irene Raphael represented the band to sing with 5 other girls from School of Nursing. After a fierce competition, 10 contestants were promoted to the second round, band FOXTROT with a soft song-- touched all the audiences, and finally won the second prize.
5月11日晚，“青春放歌，梦想起航”广州医科大学第七届校园才艺大赛之团员青年歌手大赛总决赛在校本部体育馆三楼礼堂拉开帷幕。我院留学生Ketegwe Irene Raphael、Thangjam Remon Meitei,、Kshetrimayum Mahesh Mangang、Chingangbam Kelvin、Rai Manikala组成名为FOXTROT的乐队参加了比赛。经过激烈的淘汰赛，我院乐队以一首舒缓、柔情的《Innocence》荣获二等奖，让在场的每一个人感受到了轻音乐的魅力。
