On May 6, 2016, School of International Education held the intern mobilization meeting for class of 2011 at classroom 12-1A in Dongfeng Campus. Professor Jiachun Lu, the dean of School of International Education, together with teachers of International Students’ Office, students from class of 2011 and two students’ representatives from class of 2010 attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Chanu and Mosha, on behalf of students from class of 2010 shared their internship experience, especially about the arrangements of the affiliated hospitals, how to communicate with the patients and advisors. Then, Professor Lu made a speech, he put forward specific requirements on studying, working, life, safety and discipline during internship. He said clinical internship was one of the most important parts of medical education, he hoped all students could take internship seriously and cherish the opportunity to learn clinical practice skills from advisors, and completed the internship successfully. Finally, the discipline, attendance, requirements and duties for interns were introduced by teachers from International Students’ Office. Interns were explicitly required to observe the regulations and disciplines of teaching hospitals conscientiously, obey the arrangement and increase the safety awareness to guard against medical accidents.
Students were encouraged and had more confidence through the mobilization meeting. Since May, 9, 2016, international students from class of 2011 will begin their internship in 1st, 2nd, 3rdaffiliated hospitals of GMU.
5月6日上午，我院在东风校区12-1A召开2011级留学生临床实习动员大会。我院院长吕嘉春教授、留学生教育管理科老师、2011级全体留学生及2010级留学生代表参加了大会。
会上，2010级留学生代表Chanu，Mosha分别作为我校附一医院、附二医院的实习代表作了经验交流报告，介绍了所在医院的特点、日常工作，并与师弟师妹们分享了在实习期间如何与患者相处、如何与带教老师沟通等问题。随后，吕嘉春教授为2011级留学生做了动员讲话，对学生实习期间的学习、工作、生活、安全和纪律等方面提出具体要求，他指出临床实习是医学生走上临床医师的重要环节，同学们要认真对待临床实习，珍惜实习机会，虚心向指导老师学习，熟练掌握各种临床技能，保质保量完成实习任务。最后，留学生教育管理科布置了学生下实习点前要做好的各项准备工作，并强调了实习纪律与职责，要求同学们严格遵守实习医院的规定和纪律，服从医院的安排，积极参加医院的各项医疗教学活动，加强安全意识与防范意识，防止发生医疗差错和事故。
此次会议为即将走上实习岗位的学生树立了信心，鼓足了勇气，为顺利完成实习任务奠定了良好的基础。5月9日起，我院2011级留学生将前往我校附一院、附二院、附三院开展为期一年的临床实习。
