The Lectures on Introducing NMC Licensing Examination Held

On May 20, the lectures on introducing NMC Licensing Examination were held at Gym Building Room 502 in Yuexiu Campus. Professor Joshi Sunil Kumar from Kathmandu Medical College was invited to give an overall introduction of the examination to our Nepalese students and guide them to well prepare for the exam. Around 20 Nepalese students from two campuses attended the lectures.

Professor Joshi Sunil Kumar started the lectures with introduction to the passing marks of the licensing examination for physicians in Nepal. He helped students to understand score allocation of each session of the exam and discussed extensively on how to answer the questions. Professor Joshi Sunil Kumar emphasized that special attention should be paid to the basic medical knowledge. Then Jiachun Lu, the dean of School of International Education made a conclusion, he hoped all Nepalese students could continue to maintain a good learning state and wished the students to achieve excellent results in NMC Licensing Examination.

There were 9 Nepalese graduates in 2016, 7 of whom passed NMC Licensing Examination in the first time, and the passing rate was 78%.

我院举办尼泊尔执业医师资格考试培训讲座

5月20日，国际教育学院在越秀校区体育馆举办尼泊尔执业医师资格考试指导讲座，加德满都医学院Joshi Sunil Kumar教授应邀为我校近20名尼泊尔籍留学生全面讲授尼泊尔执业医师资格考试政策并指导备考。

讲座期间，Joshi Sunil Kumar教授从尼泊尔执业医师资格考试分数线切入，结合各科所占分值比例，帮助尼泊尔留学生了解考试中各部分的分值比重，并就答题思路与留学生进行了广泛探讨，强调要尤其重视基础医学知识的学习。

国际教育学院吕嘉春院长在总结发言中表示，希望尼泊尔籍留学生继续保持良好的学习状态，力争在尼泊尔执业医师资格考试中取得优异成绩。

据统计，已于2016年毕业的我校首届尼泊尔籍留学生毕业生共9人，其中7人通过了尼泊尔执业医师资格考试，一次性通过率为78%。
