School of International Education Held the 2018 New Year Party
On December 16, 2017 New Year Party for international students hosted by School of International Education was held at the auditorium in Yuexiu Campus. Over 100 international students and Chinese students gathered to celebrate the coming New Year. Jiachun Lu, Dean of School of International Education, Susan Zhou and Kathy Guo, Administrators of International Students Office attended the celebration.
Mr. Zhenkun Guan from School of International Education and Ms. Emerald from School of Stomatology were the hosts of this party. The party began with a folk dance-Beats boys, represented exotic culture by 2015 and 2017 class students. Chinese students from School of Stomatology brought the fan dance-Red flavor, showed the characteristics of Chinese hiphop culture. The whole party was in constant climax, with fashion shows, folk dance, music plays, songs of various countries etc. Wonderful performances aroused screaming from every corner of the auditorium, and lucky draws interwoven in the programs also brought surprises to students. The party ends with a collective chorus of the harmony and warmness “Hallelujah” by the whole international students.
12月16日，2018年国际教育学院新年晚会暨与口腔医学院联谊会在越秀校区礼堂圆满落幕。国际教育学院吕嘉春院长，留学生教育管理科周婷老师和郭婧老师，与口腔医学院的全体学生和全体留学生欢聚一堂，共迎新年。
晚会由来自国际教育学院的Zhenkun Guan同学和口腔医学院的Emerald同学主持。开场由来自15级和17级的学生带来充满异域风情的舞蹈“ Beat boys”。随后，口腔医学院的女子组合表演了街舞“Red flavor”，尽显年轻人的青春和活力。整场晚会高潮不断，来自不同国家和地区的学生们跳起热情洋溢的舞蹈，或引吭高歌，或独奏乐器，淋漓尽致的展现了自己的才艺，抽奖环节更是给大家带来连连惊喜。晚会最后，在两位17级新生的钢琴和吉他伴奏声中，全体留学生合唱“哈利路亚”，悠然的歌声让火爆的气氛归于平静与温暖，此次晚会圆满落幕。
