11月15日至16日，我校第51届学生运动会在番禺校区运动场隆重举行。我院留学生通过方阵表演、竞技项目等形式积极参与到运动会中，为本次运动会增添了独特的异国风采和亮丽的风景。
开幕式上，留学生们身着国际教育学院院服和本国传统服饰进行了队形展示和充满异域风情的舞蹈表演，并喊出”I Love China, I Love GMU”的心声，他们用极富表现力的律动给全校师生带来了富有活力的视听体验，用满满的热情传达了对中国的热爱，对学校的热爱。运动会中，我院共派出30余名留学生运动员参加了14个竞技项目的角逐，运动健儿们用实际行动证明了“理解、友爱、团结、参与”的体育精神,用拼搏的汗水挥洒赛场，赛出了友谊，赛出了风采。留学生们表示此次运动会将成为他们在我校留学生活中的珍贵回忆。
Schoolof InternationalEducation Participated in 51stSports Meeting
From Nov. 15thto 16th, the 51stSports Meeting of GMU was held at the playground of Panyu Campus successfully. School of International Education participated in it actively. More than 30 international student athletes participated in the competition of 14 games. They used definitive action to prove the “understanding, friendship, unity, participation” in sportsmanship, to use the hard sweat to lead the game, won friendships and showed off! International students considered that this Sports Meeting would be one of their precious experiences in GMU.
