On May 11, 2015, School of International Education held the intern mobilization meeting for class of 2010 at classroom 17-1A in Donfeng Campus. Professor JiachunLu, the dean of School of International Education,together withteachers of International Students’ Office and students from class of 2010 attended the meeting.

Professor Luhighlightedthe purpose and significance of internship, role reversal and definition from students to medical interns, how to deal withthe relationship between internship and preparationfor medical license examination at the same time, how to master clinical techniques and develop the clinical thought and ability to work on his own in the course of saving patient’s lifeand treating diseases under the guidance ofsenior doctors. Professor Luhopedour students can clarify the goal of study with good attitude andadjust tothe internship assoonas possible. Then, the discipline, attendance, requirement and duties for interns were introduced byteachers from International Students’ Office. Our students were explicitly required to observe the regulations and disciplines of teaching hospitals conscientiously, obey the arrangement, form a serious style of work, take care of patients, respect the physician and increase the safety awareness to guard against any unskillful and faulty medical or surgicalmistreatment.

Clinical internship, as one of the most important parts of medical education,wasthe key stage for medical students to transform the basic science courses and professional knowledge to diagnose and prevent diseases.Meanwhile, it was also an important way for students to strengthen their professional knowledge through practice and gain more practical experience. Since May 18, 2015, international students from class of 2010 will begin their internship in 1^stand 2^ndaffiliated hospital of GMU.

我院召开临床实习动员大会

5月11日上午，我院在东风校区17-1A召开2010级留学生临床实习动员大会。我院院长吕嘉春教授、留学生教育管理科老师及2010级全体留学生参加了大会。

会上，吕嘉春教授重点介绍了实习的目的与意义、从学生到医学实习生的角色转换与定位、实习与准备职业医师资格考试的关系、如何在上级医师指导下通过接诊、处治病人来正确掌握临床工作中的常用诊疗技术，培养临床思维和独立工作能力等，并希望即将走上实习岗位的同学能明确学习目标，摆正心态，尽快适应实习环境和生活。随后，留学生教育管理科强调了实习纪律与职责等，要求同学们自觉遵守实习医院的规定与纪律，服从安排，认真谨慎，关心患者，尊敬带教老师，加强安全意识与防范意识,防止发生医疗差错和事故。

医学生临床实习是医学教育过程中的重要环节之一，是医学生通过临床实践将基础理论和专业知识转化为独立处理病人和预防疾病能力的关键阶段，也是学生通过临床实践强化理论，增长临床知识与经验的重要途径。5月18日起，我院2010级留学生将前往我校附一院、附二院开展为期一年的临床实习。
