Recently, Indian student named Chanu, a MBBS major from School of International Education, was elected as one of GMU Talented Students of the Year 2014 in arts. Chanu now is the monitor of class of 2010. She used to get award of GMU scholarship, and she once took part in great performance for many times in and beyond GMU and gained prizes. She insisted that “Art is the uplifting of the beauty, where all can see and enjoy”.
It’s learnt that totally 33 students from 12 schools joined in this selection. After credential examination, online voting, experts reviewing, 20 students from them were selected as GMU Talented Students of the Year 2014 pertaining to moral quality, volunteering, self-struggle, leadership, knowledge, technology, environment-protection, arts, sports, entrepreneur and so on.
我院留学生Chanu获评广州医科大学“感动校园”年度艺术人物
日前，我院印度籍留学生Chanu获评2014年度广州医科大学“感动校园”艺术人物。Chanu是我院2010级临床医学专业学生，现担任班长，曾获得校级优秀留学生奖学金，多次参加校内外大型表演活动并荣获奖项，Chanu坚信“Art is the uplifting of the beauty, where all can see and enjoy”。
据了解，2014年度广州医科大学“感动校园”年度人物评选活动共收到12个单位33名同学的参评材料。经过资格审查、网络投票、专家评审，最终在道德风尚、志愿、自强、领袖、博学、科技、环保、艺术、体育、创业等方面评选出20名年度人物。
