On Jan. 19, 2015, 2014 Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship Awarding Ceremony was held at classroom A3-318 in Panyu Campus. Professor Jiachun Lu, Dean of School of International Education, teachers of International Students’ Office, together with international students attended the ceremony.
Twelve students won Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship in 2014. Professor Lu awarded the certificates to all winners. Bidyashwori and Yashpreet, on behalf of award-winning students delivered their speeches. They expressed their heartiest thanks to the supports from Guangdong Government and GMU , and they said the scholarship was a great encouragement for them.
Professor Lu made a speech giving congratulations and encouragements to scholarship winners. Professor Lu hoped all international students should work harder and cherish the limited study time, be strict with themselves in class attendance, class performance, reviewing after class, and build up a solid foundation for the bright future.
我院举行2014年度广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金颁奖仪式
2015年1月19日，广州医科大学2014年度广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金颁奖仪式在番禺校区A3-318教室举行。我院吕嘉春院长、留学生教育管理科的全体教师、番禺校区留学生参加了本次活动。
2014年度我校共有12名来华留学生获得广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金。吕嘉春院长逐一为获奖学生颁奖，获奖学生代表Bidyashwori、Yashpreet分别进行了发言，他们表示感谢省政府及学校给予他们的肯定和支持，奖学金是一份鼓励和鞭策，激励他们不断进步。随后，吕嘉春院长发表了讲话，他对获奖学生表示热烈祝贺，希望留学生们再接再厉，抓住在校学习的黄金时间，从出勤、课堂表现、课后复习等点滴做起，脚踏实地，刻苦学习，为将来美好前程打下坚实的基础。
