Our students to participate in the fourthsports meeting of theSchoolofStomatology
On the 19thOctober 2014GuangzhouMedicalUniversityheld the 4thsports meeting between thecollegeofStomatologyand the International education college. This tradition marked its 4thyear of existence and it’s considered a high honour to part take in such an event. 2014 was a remarkable year for the International education college. The International education college came out top in four of the events. The events were snowball, hot wheels, long jump and high jump. Though this was a competition, the principles this event is built on is friendship, respect and honour. This event allowed the bonds of friendship to be strengthened between the Chinese and international students. The sports meeting also tested student’s skills of teamwork and communication but also created an environment where one can admire and respect one’s opponent. Team spirit was on show across the sports field where students cheered and encouraged their classmates. The 2014 sports meeting was of brilliant success and it is hoped that this success can continue for the years to come.

我院留学生参加口腔医学院第四届运动会
2014年10月19日下午，口腔医学院第四届学生运动会暨“奔跑青春之志，树中外友谊之桥Fly our youth，built up friendship”国口联谊学生运动会于我校番禺校区体育场隆重开幕。口腔医学院唐敏仪老师、庄碧贤老师、我院范熙老师、周婷老师、口腔医学院的全体学生与番禺校区的所有留学生参加了运动会开幕式。
本次运动会的同学共210人。其中口腔医学院161人，国际教育学院49人，还有66名口腔医学院同学不辞劳苦从东风西校区奔赴番禺校区参与活动！几乎所有同学都参与了各类比赛活动。
运动会设置了丰富多彩的项目，有趣味十足、团队协作与竞技并重的“风火轮、滚雪球、二人三足和4×100米”集体项目；有男女子跳远、跳高、长跑、短跑等个人项目。
本次运动会，我院留学生获得了风火轮、滚雪球比赛的团体第二名和第三名，来自印度的留学生Yashpreet、Sohail，和来自尼泊尔Razz分获男子跳高的第二名、第三名以及男子200米的第三名。
最后，运动会在夜幕中圆满落幕。本次运动会进一步加深了口腔医学院与国际教育学院学生的沟通交流，彰显了“奔跑青春之志，树立中外友谊之桥”的主题。
