为增加留学生对中国传统文化的了解，丰富留学生的校园生活，2013年4月24日我院组织了2012级的新生前往参观位于大学城的岭南印象园。
岭南印象园中聚集了岭南传统文化的精华元素，如富有特色的岭南歌舞表演，街巷、宗祠、民居，练溪大街上的棉花糖、大风车、坐花轿、烧玻璃、画糖画、民间工艺等，这些岭南元素深深吸引留学生们，他们逐一体验后纷纷感慨中国文化的博大精深，源远流长。
通过参观，留学生们不但对中国传统文化有了更深的了解，同时也加深了他们学习汉语的兴趣。
参观后，Sophia Michael Nchimbi同学代表2012级的留学生表达了他们的想法：
We had a fine day, starting from the journey from our school campus to the lignan impressions and our way back. We, a group of ten students among twenty two chose to drive all along with our administrator. Ofcourse it costed us a little but what we had gained will never be a little thing in our life, and we will never sit and forget all that we had learned, seen and enjoyed.
Can you imagine, beautiful views of the landscape of the lignan area, the wonderful view of the pearl river, the nice cultural heritage of the chinese generations, amazing cultural and traditional chinese perfomances on live stage like the acrobats and daily activities. Nevertheless. Lovely newerly wedded couples taking photographs, dressed wonderfully, the nice photos with the chinese people around you and many many more. But mostly we had all fun we wanted with ourselves, it was entirely very pleasing to have that moment.
Our time was not so long, but if it was our opinion, we could have all the day and enjoy all that was around. We had to be back at school again. The precious moment we can not forget is feeding the fishes in their aquarium with our biscuits. That is making us want to go back at the impressions again but we hope we will once again because we had valued the chance we got for the first time.
We are looking foward for as many trips as possible for our class that we will continue feeling welcomed and home aroundGuangzhouandChinatoo. But in all things we sincerely add a greatful and heartful thanks giving to all who worked hard for our trip and did participate, our fellow students, our driver and mostly to the school administration office for allowing us have a day out by ourselves. To the administration of the lignan impressions for doing us a favour of deducing our entrace fair too. Looking foward for the next trip.
