The Lecture on COPD&Mucus Held

The lecture on COPD&Mucus was held on 6th,November at the classroom 12-3B in yuexiu campus.Professor Kwang Chul Kim From University of Arizona College of Medicine had given this lecture to the international students in yuexiu campus in order to broaden their vision and make the education more internationalized. More than 90 students attended this lecture.

Professor Kim started the lecture by introducing the mechanism of COPD(Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), including the cause, risk factors,symptoms and diagnosis.  Afterwards, he showed the students  his own research experience for the more than 30years on Mucus, which plays an important role in COPD. The research is thorough and profound ,which is also inspiring and intriguing.

The Dean of International education school, Professor Lu, also attended the lecture. He not only presided the lecture , but also had some friendly interactions with Professor Kim. After the lecture was over, lots of students were asking questions to Professor Kim for more information about his research, and want to gain some life experiences from Professor Kim as well.

 我院举办关于COPD&Mucus的讲座。

在11月6日晚上，越秀校区12-3B教室，我院举办了关于COPD&Mucus的讲座。 来自美国美国亚利桑那大学医学院的金教授给越秀校区的三个年级的留学生进行了讲座，目的是开阔他们的学习视野，使教育更加国际化。90多位同学参加了这次讲座。

     教授在讲座开始的时候，首先从介绍慢性阻塞性肺炎的发病机制开始，包括介绍了其中的发病原因，危险因素，病症，和诊断。在此之后，他再继续向学生们展示他对于粘液在慢阻肺疾病中的作用已经研究了30多年的成果。他的研究是具有深远的的影响力的，同时也非常具有启发性，非常吸引同学。

国教院院长吕教授，也参加并主持了这次讲座。他在提问环节中与金教授有着非常精彩的互动。讲座结束以后，许多留学生对金教授的研究提出了很多问题，并且也从金教授的回答中得到了很多人生经验和启发。
